Does anyone know if a 241 dhd transfer case can run backwords? Thanks in advance.

Why not? They work in reverse right? I feel like I'm missing something here.

You are not missing anything. Check out my post about the 6 x 6 conversion. It did sound funny to me when I reread it.

Do you mean reverse rotation, or actually turning the t-case around and using the rear output as the input, so you could have two outputs on the same side for both drive axles?

I'd look for a divorced 205 to do that with, instead of trying to rig a married transfer case into place.
