where to get a front seal for a 241dhd

I'm doing a trans/clutch swap on the other 98 12v 4x4. I knew the tailshaft seal on the 241dhd was leaking but when I took it out the front is leaking too. Perhaps also the permatex made seal around the center of the case as well. Can anyone tell me where to get the front seal on a sunday and is there anything more to replaceing it then removing what looks to be that retainer and popping a new one in. Also is it involved to split the housing and replace that permatex center gasket? with over 350k miles on it I'm wondering if I should replace anything else in it. this truck is driven over 1000miles a week for work and absolutly can not be down for very long.
Thanks all for the help
Chris

hi
i am looking at pulling mine soon also to fix a leak between the trans and transfur case ?
the case fluid dirty is not lesking at the split as the case fluid is dirty , but my new red trans fluid is leaking at the split .
i also believe i have too much play in the front output bearing as i have about 1/8" slop . looked at another one and no play !
also check the rear drive shaft bushing and shaft snap ring as they can cause a big prob also !
case saver at 1 800-216-1632 is a good idea !

good luck !

Whats a case saver? Theres no movement in the saft at all if you try to wiggle it so I was hopeing the bearings were okand I can just swap a seal.

I had allready checked that and as ususal no help. they list 1 front seal and its for a "231, 241" Dosent say dhd or dld. I assume if it fits a 231 and a 241 its for the LD model not the HD.
