Need more power!

Truck is sick! Installed #8 TST plate about 1/4" from front. Adjusted star wheel about two turns away from engine. Installed 4" exhaust. What next? delivery valves? governor spring kit? Is there more adjustments on the pump/star wheel/etc? I am trying to be somewhat easy since trans has 200K on a rebuild. Any suggestions on a trans and converter, I feel the trans is not long for this world. What about injectors? I just sold my 05 Powerstroke and still need to move heavy loads. Please help me like my Dodge. Thanks, Bob.

Goerand or DTT or suncoast or ATS are all good transmission choices. Get a nice Torque converter and Valve body and u'll be back in business (depending how ur clutches and bands are).

the 8 plate isn't gonna fuel as hard as a 100 plate or a 0 plate, u may want to grind ur plate to a 100 plate for more power.
First get a governor spring kit (3gsk)
Then get some 181 or 191 dv's
depending how ur EGT's are after that, u might want a bigger turbo
Then maybe some 370 injectors, and the list goes on and on, lol.

for towing heavy with a 12valve anything over 75hp injectors will be warm without more air. it can be done but it will get old watching the pyro. you can get some 215's and 181's on the stock turbo and that'll work good with your plate and starwheel position.

Where are you located? This could help us direct you to some pretty cool shops.

location

I am located in middle TN. The 215's and 181's mentioned, are they delivery valves? Sorry to be so dumb, but I am new to the 12V world.

the 215's are stock injectors on a truck equiped with the 215pump and the 181's are the stock delivery valves off of the same pump.
