Got a 94 3500 with a fuel problem. Line from IP to injector is leaking at the pump. The line is for #6 and I have loosen and retighten and it is leaking again. This fix lasted about week and half. Please I need help as I aam taken a trip Friday and would love not to leak fuel all the way there. Thanks in advance.

so it's leaking at the dv (delivery valve) right? There was a recent thread about fixing a leaking DV, i'll try to find it... I think u'll just need a new washer and o-ring for that number 6 Delivery valve.

Thanks to txdiesel007 i think this will fix ur problem

get a new O ring. You may or may not have a washer in there too. Lube it up and tourq it as it says. Its in 2 steps like tourq to 45pounds and then in one motion to 90. dont quote me on the numbers, just the process. I had a leaky #1, the O ring was all torn to peices in there.

its a flared end on the injector line most of the time when the start to leak you can tighted them just to stop the leak until you drive to pick up your new line, the only fix. once you tighten them thats all you get you need a new line.

if your really in a bind you can try smoothing out the flared end of the line with some emery cloth but thats just a bandaid, it will start to leak again.

there is no making these lines very high psi and they're a certain length so you'll need to go to a cummins shop, big rig shop, or a tractor dealer for the new line.
