Wow how did you press the gear back on? Even after heating my gear to the suggested 350 degrees it still took a reasonable amount of force to press the gear on. The F1 I have now is a bolt on gear but still a slight friction fit. As you said they may all be different?

I had forgot about this thread. But when I installed my gear back on the cam, it went on pretty easy. We heated the gear to about 350* then used a piece of 4x4 post and a 2 LB hammer to slip it back on. Took about 4 light hits with the hammer to reinstall.
