You pretty much got it. Just be sure the sensor on the dampner is install back where it was. While your're in there, go ahead and setthe timing at 25.

KDP is done. Only had one issue. Cracked the speed sensor housing. Nothing a zip tie, super clue and black rtv could not fix.....

Now I can sleep better at night.....!!!!

P.S..... Did not even have to remove fan completely from the motor. Just un bolted the fan braket from the block and zip tied it close to the radiator. Worked great....

Hope your engine speed sensor fix was good, when it's not functioning correctly it will tell the computer that the engine isn't running. You will have mucho problems then.

FIX THAT KDP. Cost me $1000 when mine fell and cracked the gearcase.

As long as we're on the subject of KDP

I've used the CPFF jig method on many trucks. The only one that was protruding was a 90 with 200k on the clock.

89 to 2000 (maybe more) get it fixed.

I too use the John method. That was 6 years ago. The only thing about the tab method is, everything is out of the way for checking all bolts on the cover.

Ok, I'm ready to take care of this. Anyone in the Kansas City, MO area ready to help? I haven't ordered a TST kit yet but plan to do so real soon; brfore it gets coldout.
