KDP?
KDP?
According to another site, cumminsresponded to a letter that the blind hole cover was used in early 98? My question is, does anyone no for sure if all 98's have the blind hole cover? Or is there a production number available that correspondes to when cummins starting using the new cover.

You guessed it, I have a 98.

Re:KDP?
I have heard that trucks up to the 2000 model year have KDP issues. AFAIK, all 12 valve engines have the open hole. I have the complete setup from H&E, anybody in the Philly area who hasn't dealt with the KDP, let me know. I might have a set screw with your name on it.

I've read some about the set screw method of retaining the KDP, but I haven't seen anything in print on how to do it. Can you help? Thanks.
Re:KDP?
you guys must have alot of time on your hands, and $200.00 you want to part with. i understand that the pump mounting, if you have a P7100 wont work. the new case is designed for the vp44's. your in there, just put a tab on it and call it good. its not all that hard to do your self.
Marv.
