Injector questions
I belive Im in need of at least 1 new injector. I would imagine replacing just 1 is a waste. When a shop pressure tests them they remove them all to do this. What are the odds of the check valves in the IP being bad? should they be replaced also? Im getting an intermitten miss at lower RPM.
What would be a good replacement for a mild upgrade.what do they typically run for$$. I dont see myself wanting POD or massive smoke or the like, I dont even know if this 95 will ever see a fuel plate /gov upgrade either. Any advice would be appricated, this miss is gettin real annoying, time to fix it.
Thanks all.

The "miss" you describe. Is it all the time or at certain throttle positions?
94 & 95 are notorious for a stumble at 1200-1600 rpm.
215 injector is a Bosch core made just for the Dodge/Cummins.
Testing injectors requires all of them. A good shop will balance them to pop at the same pressure as well as general servicing.

If you do your own work and want to try the injectors it may be about the same price for you to buy injectors and swap them in than to have a shop take them out, clean them, test them, diagnose them, adjust them, and reinstall them. Here POP testing alone goes for $65/hr and grabs an hour or so, I don't believe that is adjusting, only testing.
To comment on replacing just one, the POP (opening) pressures must be quite similiar among all of the injectors, if you only replace one then odds are that one will have a much higher pressure than the others. Also since the same fuel has went through all of them they should all be equally worn.

Regarding the miss I have, Its seems to not be all the time. It can idle cold with no miss but after its warmed up sometimes you notice a slight uneveness. If you bring the rpms up in neutral its more noticable 1000 to around 1400 then its gone. Ive never heard about 94/95 having a stumble? any information avaliable as to why?

The stock governor set-up of springs and tension resulted in a lower rpm surge or miss (depends on person's words to describe it) to the engine. Often you can fix it by tightening the spring tension a click. Many have great luck with a 3k or 4k governor spring install.
