I was having a great day today until I got home from school. I walked in the house to get something and when I came back out my truck had a lope kinda like a drag car but not that bad. I can feel it when I sit in my truck while it is at Idle. <br>Anybody had this happen? Could it be that my timming slipped?<br>Thanks<br>DM01

AAron, have you had the throttle cable fix done? If it is stretched, the idle will slow and you get the lope.<br>just an idea.<br>george

Well my idle is at 900 rpms so I know its not that. Here is a new thing. this morning when I started it up it was fine. drove it to the gas station and there it was back again. So I was a lil mad at this time so I drove the B@lls off of it and it was gone again. But, next time I stopped it was back. I was at my gf's house for an hr and when I started it back up again it was gone again. Drove two hrs to the other side of Cincinnati and stopped at a mall. Back again. drove back and went back in her house for 30min. when I went to leave it was gone again. drove all the way back home (15min) and still it acted like normal. I think my truck is possed. ???<br>But on a good note I dragraced a Chevy 2500 gasser auto and won. He was like <br>DM01

 

Mine has the lope too, but only when it's below about 50* outside. Sounds cool to me, but it does go away after about 20 seconds of run time. I raced an Integra yesterday...they were amazed , and agitated they got the smoke side ....their windows were down .

 

Hey Never - <br><br>I've got the 370's and have had the lope when cold since the install. I've heard a 24v w/ DD2's do it also. Soon as it warms up it goes away. Could it be an injector problem???

 

It does not matter it cold or not. plus it just startted and only a bad injector would cause this at this time. I have had the same setup for a year now and no problems up tell now.<br>DM01

 

Any chance that you are sucking a bit of air through the rubber fuel lines or that the WIF sensor is leaking a bit?<br>Just a thought.

 

Ok day three. My truck only did it two times today. Seems to be getting better . Not that thats a bad thing. They only thing I did was change the oil 4 days ago, but I don't see how that could hurt the engine. The truck still seems like it wants to go into a lope but does not. Hopefully it will stop.<br>DM01

If you ever heard a drag car at idle. Thats is a lope. It kinds feels like the truck has a miss. Hope that helps.<br>DM01
