RPM lope after power pup install normal?

RPM lope after power pup install normal?
Hey guys, first thread so stick with me. I'm sure it's nothing, since I installed Bully Dog's Power Pup on my 2005 Cummins the RPM's "bounce" from around 500 to 1000 when thrown into neutral while coasting to a stop. Once i come to a complete stop my RPM's level out to normal. Has any one else seen or heard this?
