That's the first time I've heard the 'Lope' that everyone refers to.
My Industrial Injection HRVP-44 doesn't sound anything like that.
Much smoother.

Mine doesn't sound like that either. Mines not nearly that pronounced, and quicker.

Mine sounds just like that but not at idle. When I start letting out the clutch in second from a stop I get 2-4 lopes as the rpms drop, but the lope disappears as I get into the throttle.

ive heard they lope a little...but never like that. almost sounds like something is wrong...tho it sounds kool so id leave it

yea you can...they are good for about 80-100 hp alone depening on the truck

oooooooooo man, that is too cool, i talked to some people and they said that some do it and some don't, but i plan on getting a hrvp44 when i get the money, and i hope mine lopes like that. it reminds me of two distinct things: it sounds like it's got a camshaft in it with some seriously steep lobes on it, and it also sounds like our 4240 john deere tractor when we start it cold and put it in B2 and let the clutch out at low idle. it does the same thing.
