i found an hx40 turbo today and im thinking about byuying it. It is stock and says it will be able to fit a b series cummins. now i am assuming im gonna have to get a new down pipe to fit. This is a really good deal and if it wont work ill just resell it for a profit. My sig pretty much is 100 percent acurate about my truck... and i plan on redoing the timing and setting it a bit higher mabe 16-17*. How would this affect my truck and what not...

I would not even consider putting it on your truck with your fueling. I don't like lag and without more fueling it would be way too laggy for my preference.

With that said I have a friend running a HX40/16 on a similar truck and his on;y fueling mods are a #4 plate and he does not think it drives bad at all.

If you do buy it make sure it has a 16cm housing and not an 18cm.

 

well i was going to, for 150 bucks it was a hell of a deal from my friend. But he actually had another kid ****** it for 200... and i wasnt gonna get into a bidding challenge.
