I put about 25 miles on it so far. Gotta get use to driving a manual again, and get use to the shift points. A good example of the difference is a hill by my house, it's a 25mph road so I usually hit it at 30, and with the auto it wouldn't pull at all up it since the TC didn't lock up until about 45. But with the 5spd it just flew right up and the turbo just sings. The rpms aren't bad either, at 60 i'm turning 1950, with the auto I was turning 1900. Probably take a couple hundred miles to break in the clutch, but I can't complain, it was a fun swap.

How much did it cost to have the driveshafts modded if ya dont mind me askin? I would put a 5spd in mine if they were as fast as an automatic. I just like to race too though.

200 for the rear driveshaft, and 50 for the front. That 4" tube for the rear driveshaft is expensive, the tube alone was $80, but he did a great job and got them highspeed balanced to. Total for the whole swap was $2750, that includes a new clutch, new master/slave, and input gear and other stuff. And I'm still gonna sell the auto stuff to re-coupe around a grand.
