I installed the trans with the bellhousing on the transmission, so the bearing was already on the retainer, and it slides good. I knocked the pivot off acouple times when I tried to install it bellhousing first. I haven't installed the slave cylinder yet, so I can push the fork back and forth, and it's on the the pivot for sure. I'm gonna go install the master and slave right now, and get that wired up.

I'm pretty sure you can just use a pry-bar to actuate the clutch from under the truck

Well, I had to wait a extra day for a new output snap ring for the transfercase, and find a replacement screw for the one I stripped on the oil pump. Got that all buttoned up last night, just need to measure driveshafts today, and I'll probably get them modded tomorrow. Planning to be driving on Saturday. Again, thanks for all the help u and Lewis gave. I just wanna measure that front driveshaft a couple times because it's gotta be dead on. Still waiting on a shiftboot I bought, but thats not gonna stop me from driving it, lol.

here's a few pics from the beggining of the swap... the t-case shift linkage doesn't have the hole drilled yet, but u can see how I welded that extra length tab on it to fit the 5spd.

Looks great. Do you want me to measure my drive shaft and tell you what it is? Pete

yea, but the fork is right in the way so u can't see the input gear when u get it close to going in. Believe me, I tried every single way that first day. The best way would be to have a helper who can adjust the jack while u get everything else lined up, and it shouldn't be hard at all.

I got the driveshafts measured pete, thanks though. I got 5-7/8" longer in the rear, and 5-1/2" shorter in the front.

Just drove it around my driveway alittle, I still gotta put the front driveshaft on when they finish it on monday, and put the t-case linkage back in. I'm cutting the hole for the new shift boot right now, Can't wait to get it out on the road and really get through the gears.
