what is the best or i should say quickest, least complicated and inexpensive way to acheive right around 250hp on my 95 12V cummins? 4" turbo back no cat exhaust and afe air intake in the works, so what does that put me at? how much more to go? should i just get the #10 or #8 fuel plate?

Stock injectors and pump are easily good for 350hp.
250 is easy with just a plate but a 3 or 4k GSK will make it even better.
#10 is by far the most popular plate or if you don't tow and don't mind watching the pyro all the time just take the stock plate out or grind it to a #100 or #0.

i see. i would have to do valve spring upgrades and other work if i used the 4k kit? dont wanna do much internal work yet, just get it to where the internals are still safe and still get as much power as i can out of it. what size of fuel plate can i get away with without getting different injectors?

No as it says the governor spring kit is installed in the injection pump & allows a higher RPM before shutting off the fuel.

A 3k GSK doesn't require changing the valve springs and costs the same as a 4k.
Most people buy the 4k and just leave the extra spring that makes the difference between 3 and 4k out.
This way you can upgrade to 4k later if you wish.
