what turbo do you have now? i dont think i see it in your sig. the delivery valves will give you alot more fuel if that is what youre looking for but more fuel does not always yeild more power.

b1 bomber. schwitzer s300 derivative. supposed to flow about 900-950 cfm. dont' know what this coverts to in pounds per minute.
BD super b advertises 61 lbs/minute and the super b special 80/lbs/min.

Your turbo isn't made to safely support more than 425HP worth of fuel, so if you want more power thats usable, NO2 is your best bet. Otherwise, if your just looking for power for the Dyno 191's will give you about 40HP over the 181's you have now. Slide your plate farther forward, along with your starwheel. If you have studs or a marine head gasket, bump your timing more, that'll lower your EGT's some and let you flow more fuel. F1's or 435's will give you more fuel, but your already at the upper limits of your turbo, so flowing more fuel may just get you more smoke.

Thanks:
I was hoping I could get 500 rwhp safely.
I 've only been into diesels since the beginning of the year and before I started modding I asked around what I would need for 500hp. I guess I didn't specify 500rwhp......heh heh.

The turbo suggested was the one I bought.....
thanks for the help.

the starwheel will do nothing

For maximum HP your correct, but it will greatly increase low end HP and TQ, and get the Turbo to light faster, its usable power, so why not take advantage of it.

unless he is going to something like a 64 or 66 he wont need the extra fuel to spool it sooner, the F1's will provide enough fuel to light your turbo, and if you put to much fuel to soon then you will run out of air to put the fire out!

Not shure about your turbo but if you still got your stock plate I would think that if you ground it to a 100 or 0 you could get some more power.

The whole point of me saying to bump the starwheel is because he can't go to a bigger injector without improving airflow...so to gain some low end grunt he should move it. I didn't think that was written to confusingly but everyone has off days.

So, basically your suggesting that this guy wreck either his #6 Cylinder, his turbo, or his entire engine just to gain 100HP?

Ram4by, your pretty much at you limit to run safely without constantly watching the pyro. I know, I have experience in your situation. My 98 has about the same combo as yours, but I'm running a 4k GSK and 17* timing on a stock turbo. For pulling I had an HX-55, but finances took that out of the picture when I blew it. You can pretty easily upgrade your turbo, about $350-$400. Give II or HTT a call or shoot them an email, they should be able to set you up with a 62mm Comp wheel and housing.

no im not suggesting it. but i am saying it can be done. no not everybody is going to do it most everybody wants to do is set the afc housing forward, plate forward, starscrew loose all the way plug the wastgate line and so on. but if one would understand how things work then a set-up can work.

Understand how things work? What are you kidding me?!? F1 Injectors will greatly increase low end and top end fuel, period. Loosening the starwheel will only increase low end fuel delivery, by the time that extra fuel makes a difference in temps the turbo will be spooled already, cooling all the fuel he's sprayed.

Why don't you fill out that sig of yours so we can see just what your running, because right now I'm questioning your knowledge.
