Front and Rear Axle Fluid Change

Front and Rear Axle Fluid Change
I am changing the fluid in the rear differential first, then the front. I was going to use Royal Purple Synthetic in both and seal the covers with "The Right Stuff." 75w90 the weight you guys are using?
What do you guys think? I use Royal Purple in my Z28 and it's worked very well. From my understanding you dont need to add limited slip fluid with Royal Purple synthetic.
The reason this swap was triggered is the rear acts like a spooled rear going around corners from time to time.
Couple Questions - Is the front diff posi? Is the rear diff worm or clutch posi?

No posi in ft .
Sounds like the fluid may have been changed with no slip fluid ?
Clutch for the diff , I hear good things about Royal Purple , I bought Amsiol .

I use RP, good stuff.
Make sure to follow your manual's instructions on fluid level.
Correct level is 3/4" below the bottom of the fill plug up front and 1/2" below in the rear.
Filled to the bottom of the plug leaks are likely plus the diffs will run hot.

The front is an open differential with spider gears. If you have a LS rear, it is a clutch setup. 75W90 is a good weight oil unless you are towing real heavy when 75W140 would be good.

The posi lock kit has a little bit of a misleading name. It doesn't have anything to do with the differential. It simply replaces the vacuum actuation to connect the two passenger side axle shafts with a pull cable. I have it on my truck and it works reasonably well. It doesn't help with traction though.
I drive through Manchester pretty regularly on my way to my parents house in Mass. If you ever see a kind of beat up black truck with a white cap and a bunch of antennas, that is me.
