fuel return line

fuel return line

my fuel return line leaks looks like its been fixed with fuel line hose once how do i get to the outher end i cant even see it much less find it .i can find the lower part near the frame woule it help if i remover fuel filter housng any help would be a big help thanks

Yes
Removing the fuel filter is the easiest way to get access.
DON'T get lazy and try to bend the steel lines.
Find a diesel rated hose of SAE30R7 or better

What year are you working on? Return hard line from P7100 is indeed, behind the filter, but even my big arms manages to get back there...........

97 but cant even find the end of line mush less see it any ideas outher than remove fuel filter?/

You'll have to remove the filter to get at it, don't know if you'll ever see it, feel only.
Good idea to have a replacement filter on hand.
