I have already replaced mine with and OEM valve about 4 years ago, so based on the write up maybe I'm due again especially after running some amounts of BioDiesel through it.

 

With all the biodiesel requirements coming into effect state by state I think it would be wise to use this OFV instead, it's only $4 more.

I'm sort of surprised they would even sell an OFV that isn't resistant to BD or WVO, the $4 will be well spent.

Try larry, he has great product and great prices. Ive bout 4 of these from him for variuos trucks and have seen huge mileage and driveabilty gains.

 

Larry B told me last week that he is very impressed with the Tork-Tek valves and will be carrying them soon.

 

i talked to him about Syn-Flex line. he hadnt heard of using it as fuel line. it is however run on the truck pictured in the OFV pic. i need to find fitting to connect the syn flex to the steel lines and im going to try the synflex. i can get it much cheaper than marine hose and it will last just as long if you keep it away from hi heat such as exhaust

 

Just watch out that the fitting cost doesn't negate the savings on the hose.
A couple of hose clamps are pretty cheap and do a fine job holding the low fuel system pressures we're dealing with.

I was looking at some hydraulic hose and fittings you could do yourself without a machine to crimp on the fittings.
Once you added the price up it was much cheaper to just pay someone to crimp on fittings.

 

see thats the thing im not sure where exactly to look for these fittings other than freightliner.....Not sure how familiar you are with medium and heavy duty diesel but there are only a few stores that deal with those trucks in my area other than the dealers themselves. fleetpride and truckpro are the prominent ones but im really doubting i wud find that fitting there

No I have not yet.. I am very interested though and won't be long. At a minimum I was going to get the snubber for a fuel gauge setup, but may as well get the valve too.
