Transmission rebuilder near Oxnard, CA

I have a 1997 2500 4X4 long bed that needs the automatic transmission rebuilt. I live in Oxnard, CA and am looking for any Tranny shop recommendations that are close by. Truck is basically stock with the exception of a #10 fuel plate. It has approx. 178k miles on it and is used for hauling dirt bikes and the occasional small trailer. Some day I may buy a toy hauler or other travel trailer and would like for the truck to be prepared for the extra weight. Besides the rebuild should the torque converter be changed? If so what one do you think? All suggestions welcome.

Cummins Cal Pacific used to have a place near Oxnard and they worked on Dodge/Cummins trucks and also did transmissions--they used to be an ATS certified installer.

I've had an ATS Stage IV in my truck for 165,000 miles. I love it. Never had a bit of trouble with it. I tow, but not real heavy, but when I tow, I tow long distances--1600 miles one way. I do that about once a year, and the trans has never skipped a beat. Plus you can shift locked if you want to.

If you dont mind a couple hour drive you could go to Browns near fresno. They build some of most bad trannys out there man.
