filter bypass
Do the fleetguard oil filters (dont remember the no.) we use have a bypass valve in them and at what psi do they open? Its got me thinking with oil being cold and 85 psi bypass could be open . If there is one.

No bypass in the correct filters for Cummins. There is a oil pressure regulator to the front of the filter housing on the block that bypasses excess pressure back to the oil pan.
