Hi everyone, I really appreciate everyones input! Anyways,what i am experiencing is a very deep popping/exploding noise at higher rpm or under heavy acceleration. engine seems to lose power at this point, not drastically though. you would have to be really paying close attention to notice either the noise or the power loss.any ideas? thanks

 

Defueling when you hit the govenor. I guess it is around 26-2700?

If so, perfectly normal unless you change the govenor springs. That opens up an entire new world known as BOMBing.
