a few, maybe minor issues.

Ok, well now that i have 16 wheels and 14 tires(complements of Andy(Hammer)) I have noticed a few little issues and was wondering if anyone could give me a solution.

First of since installing my 4inch exhaust, i can hear it rattle against the frame when i turn. only issue is i cant move it from the frame or it'll hit the trans cooler lines, i thought about taking it off and squaring the pipe so that it doesn't hit either, but is this ok?

Second, I think i just solved this problem in my head, ima go fix it and get back to you about it.

ok, the second issue is still there, so here it is.

When i get into it, there is about 2500 rpms of lag before it shifts (around 40?mph) at this point the truck takes off like a raped ape. What gives? why am i lacking at the take off? I dont know PSI or EGTs as im not getting gauges yet. Mom wont let me spend on them until truck is insure and inspected.

if you got a auto that is stock that seems like too many rpms but the od raped ape is normal. my first gears aren't worth a crap but when the od locks up then i got something. i'm switching to a 4500 as soon as i get a couple more things, then i won't have the torque converter losing all my power.

The pipe touching anything will make a heck of a racket.
When I've run into this have just taken a hammer to the pipe till it doesn't touch.

If anyone asks why you're hammering on your pipe, just tell them you are "clearancing" it. It's the technical version of pounding something out of the way.

Well, I realized my star screw was unadjusted from doing the fuelplate, the PO had gotten it stuck fully wound. Now it runs like a champ.
