Engine Code
Can anyone tell me what engine code "D" is on the vin #?
I have seen some 1997 vehicles with a "C" code,which according to the Haynes book identifies a diesel engine.I have also seen some 1997 vehicles with "D" codes,which the Haynes book has no engine type listed.What is the deal with the "D" ?
