Dana 70 nut torque
If you are talking about the pinion seal that is behind the yoke on the rear diff then I just did mine. The Hayse manual said 440 to 500 ft-lbs. I had to borrow a torque wrench for a friend that works on heavy equipment. Hope this helps and I hope i am answering your question.

Yeah, I tried to do it the 'right' way and it felt too tight...maybe wore out, pitted up races. I like the dial indicator method---lubing with 80-90 means there needs to be some space in there. Time to brush off the dial indicator and check.
