Con FE or Con Ofe ?
Just twisted the center out of my Centerforce clutch ( junk )
I'm fixing to buy a South bend setup the 13 in. change over kit.
What I want to know is which would be the best for my application the FE or the OFE . I'm not sure what the difference in them are.
If they chatter or not ?
If they are noisey ? ECT.
I pull a lot of heavy ( 25,000-30,000 lbs.gross ) loads and drive this truck daily.
You never know I might hook it to a sled to try it out sometime. Just localy though NOT ALL the time, if I did that I would build it all the way.
I don't want anything that grabs and lundges like the old bronze clutches I used to run pulling and drag racing in the gassers.
Thanks for your input.
I know there is alot of guys running these setups.

: Eddie : 8)

Re:Con FE or Con Ofe ?
I went with the OFE 13" this summer aqnd have been every pleased with it!!! I have driven both and the FE is grabbier than the OFE but nothing like the brass clutches. Either will make you a great towing clutch. SBC is #1 in my book not only for it's great product but they have even better customer service!!!!!
