I have a 1997 ram with no afc or fuel mods. I have unhooked my wastegate and plugged my reference line and I'm still only making 22 pounds boost. Would this be considered normal with no fuel system mods? With the wastegate unhooked I expected higher boost. Thanks in advance.

 

Unhooking the waste gate with totally stock fueling is not necessarily enough to raise boost levels, you need more fuel for that.
