hi

seems like a fair amount of air an fumes coming from the road tube to me .

placed my finger over the hose a few seconds and let go and a fair amount of preasure came rushing out .

is this normal or am i screwed ?

runs fine starts good got as high as 21.4 mpg .

what reading should i get when i put a vac gage on the plastick line that comes from the vac pump?

please fill out your sig. Are you tring to test the vac pump with the vac gauge or the vac system? When testing my vac lines I pump my gauge up to 15 and let it set awhile if it starts dropping right away you know theres a leak but usually it will set and won't move or just very little.
