Injecter Question

Can injecters of the same Hp rating be mixed and matched? In other words if you have six injecters that came out of your truck and one was damaged can another of the same hp be used without issues??

Ideally you would want to have them pop tested to make sure they all fire close to the same but if it was a warranty claim DC would just replace the faulty injector.

I agree with ratsunm at least have them pop tested and you should be alright.

This is an older truck and my concern was if I needed to do this in an emergency I could. My stock injecters were going to be my back up's but I marred up the threads on one and my thoughts were just find another injecter of the same Hp and I should be ok temporarily that is.....

In theory, they should all be the same brand/part #. this will ensure they all have the same tip, flow and angle. Yes, pop test is a good idea so they are all opening at the same PSI and check the atomization.
