auto to standard

Help - Does anyone know how many of the parts out of a 92 ctd 4x4 non dully will fit my 95 4x4 auto? I will change out the "get rag" to a 6 speed when I do the change but I would like an idea of parts I will have to buy. I think I can use my transfer but don't know.
Thanks for the help.

Re:auto to standard

The 92 is not the best place to start for a donor truck. About all that will fit is the engine SAE adaptor, the flywheel (if you go to a NV4500 8 speed) and the bellhousing. The transfer case in the 92 is superior to that in the 94, but you will need to scare up an adaptor for the transfer case once you settle on a transmission. Go to http://www.sixstates.com/ select the Portland, OR store and call and ask for help with the adaptor you will need for the transfer case. They can also help you sort out the clutch plate that you will need.

None of the clutch pedal linkage or brake configuration will fit the newer truck, so you will need to locate those parts elsewhere.

Re:auto to standard

I think that the transmission should bolt up. (though I am by no means an expert)

I don't know how the lengths of the auto and 5 speed compare. If they are different you will need to have your driveshafts lengthenedshortened.
