A 97 2500 CTD 4x4 club cab short bed. Ive been looking for another truck and I came across this one, I have looked at probably a million trucks since I bought my first 97 3500 in 01 and I have never seen one like this I have however seen a 95-97 2500 cc sb gasser but never one with a cummins. Just wondering if anyone has seen any. Thanks

 

Its probably a late 97,early 98 when the Shortbeds became available.If you check the build date I am certain you will find it being a late December built truck......Andy

 

i think that combo was only availible in the 98.0 models.

 

The build date is April 2nd 1997.

 

Thats really weird, most of the build dates change to new model year in July/August of the current year. Does it have new interior? Maybe someone changed doors?

I am sure one of the dealers on here could look up the VIN and tell you exactly how it came from factory.... ??? hopefully one of them will chime in.

 

I work for a dealer and everything that I can gather by the vin is it is a long bed.
