98.5 lift pumps

been reading about lps and wondering if at 170k, assuming i have an original lift pump, would it be prudent to replace even if i'm not having any fueling issues? if early replacement will keep me from having injection pump issues later?

Yea, if you really have a 12 Valve, you are golden.

I would put a pressure gauge on, but you won't hurt your Injection pump......

98.5 trucks are 24v, not 12v. 12 have a much more reliable system than the 24v.
