96 NV4500 2wd seal....

I'm going to cross post this here, from the 1st Gen forum, as well since it pertains to this forum and hope someone can help me out.

In 08 I was in Corvallis Oregan and mine started leaking. I found one at a dealer. The parts guy went by my VIN # he said their was about 3 different seals. The seal number on mine was 05086054AA from the dealer. My truck is a 95 you might cross it to some other brand. It is big and it"s not cheap $47 wholesale. I was on the road 5k miles from home. I ask when they could fix it and it was going to be 2 days and then 8 hrs labor at $80 a hour. I could not believe it. I ask the parts guy about someone ot fix it. He called someone 3 blocks down the street and I had it fixed in 1 hour and I was gone. hope the number helps.

Thanks for the info Traverler....I found a guy at one of the local Chrysler dealer who knew what i needed and got me the seal, and like you said it wasn't cheap.
