They must have bought Quad 4x4's patent for the torq-king. I saw on here just recently that he was going out of business. The write up and ilistrations are the same ones I saw on his site over a year ago and I stopped in Montana last year in August had had my NV4500 upgraded by Quad 4x4 with this exact shaft and gear setup. Glad to see that this upgrade which I think is the best on the market is still available. Hope Quad 4x4 got plenty for his patent, he was a great guy to deal with and it is a great product.

The article described my loss of 5th to a T. It isn't IF the stock gear will come off, it is WHEN!
I forwarded the article to Standard Transmission in Ft. Worth. They have supplied me with a number of transmissions and know their stuff.
