34psi with only a boost elbow?

I'm starting to wonder if my '98 is as virgin as I originally thought.

Got my boost gauge installed, into the intake manifold... Have an adjustable boost elbow from a TDR garage vendor installed as well. Starwheel is adjusted, but other than that, it didn't seem like the fueling had been turned up.

above 2100rpm, I can get 34psi when I'm WOT... But only around 1100* EGT max going 0-75...

Seems like stock fueling to me, but I didn't think there was enough fuel to make 34# stock...

Sometimes there's a gray haze behind me, sometimes there's none. Looking forward to making it much darker, and more consistant, along with moooore power!

Just curious... I'll be adjusting the wastegate to around 37-38 once the #10 & 3K go in...

you could yank the afc off and look at the plate,if its stock you might slide it up a tiny bit until you get your 10

No, that is not stock fueling giving you 34 psi. Is the wastegate blocked off? I'm not certain on the 215 pump, but I doubt moving the stock plate forward a bit would give you 34 psi, either.

18-22 psi. You can't increase boost boost unless you increase fuel.

It's all about how much fuel your pushing into the engine determines your boost. you could take the stock turbo up to 40psi if you wanted, but it wouldn't last long. 35psi is the max you want to put on the stock turbo.

Hmmm, I guess they used one of the kits that had a breakaway screw as part of the kit then.. My AFC housing isn't even moved though.... it can still be moved forward.

I have the #10 and 3K in the garage... Just don't have ANY time to install them!!

We'll see what's actually in the pump once it comes out to put in the 10... Must be mild, if all I can hit is 1100* (Though the Scotty & straight piping help, I'm sure)
