can you modify the 180 pump to a 215 or is it a totally different set up?

Yes you can get alot of fuel from a 180 pump. I made 586hp a with a 180 cali pump just by tuning it on the truck.

I personally would step up to the laser cut Dv's considering that you already have 181's and the laser cuts are only like $20 more.

you can always take out the three 8mm bolts that hold the throttle linkage managerie to the pump. Under that the Bosch plate lives with a 10 digit number. If the last three are 913...it's a 215. I think there might be one other suffix, but am unsure as to what it is.

I had a buddy with a late 12v that had some dealer work done. He originally had a 913 pump, but the dealer swapped pumps in their parts throwing attempts, and what he got in place of it was a 175 pump. Moral...always best to verify the pump by it's number....

887 and 913 are the 215 pump #S, this is just the last 3#s on the pump under the bracket.
