215 Pump Part Numbers???

What are the part numbers for the 215 pumps?

I know some of them are 897 and 913......which is better?

Would $500 be a decent deal for a used one that was "checked out" and "in spec?"

I think my old 175 is gettin' tired. I can't seem to get rid of the high speed miss. Depending on how much throttle you give it, ~2200-2500 it starts missing and white smoking. If you nail the throttle it stops white smoking, but the miss is still there.

I think I'll just try to find a 215 and be done with it. They're better anyway, right?

Thanks All,
Chris

I thought the 180 pump was the one that they normally go wild on with mods, rather than the 215 pump. I don't think it is just because the 215 doesn't need it as much either.

I know, they usually use the 160 and gut it for bigger internals. But I'd like to find a 215 'cause they're cheaper than a built one, and I hear the run A LOT smoother on the street.

I'm not looking to go wild. MAYBE, down the road I'll try to get 500 hp out of her, but a good 400 with minimal smoke and low EGT's (hint, hint ) and I'll be happy...for the time being.

I think you can make the numbers you're looking for with your pump, but I also think $500 for a 215 pump that's been checked out and given the OK by a pump shop is a good deal... you could turn around and sell yours for a few hundred and have enough pump for 650 hp

OK, so I'm now sure it is a 215 pump, actually a 913...problem is that the price he quoted me was for a 175 just like mine.

Is $850 for a "Tested and Calibrated" Pump too outrageous. Could I get $3-400 for mine and cheapen it up a bit?

Thanks Again Guys,
Chris

BTW, Marc--- I'm JUST going home now, sooo I'll let you know in the morning if I found those injector boxes.
