Anyone know if a 215 pump from a 96+ will fit a 95 auto that came with the 160hp pump? Also, theres a guy on ebay selling rebuilt pumps fairly cheap, 700$ compared to the 1200$ most seem to want, but hes selling by part number only and I have no idea what the part numbers are for the 160 and 215.
Wondering if its worth the risk to buy one, since its no one I know and its 500$ cheaper, something fishy there.
How much do shops charge to turn up the 215's? If I did get one I could ship it out for the work easy enough.

 

the 215 pumps will end in part # 887 and 913, and you can bolt a 215 right in place of a 160 no problems. i have a 913 in my 98 auto.

 

Pump exchange for pump is just fine. Part for part ain't.

worked exelent! lot more power!!

make sure ur tranny's gonna hold it! (if you are gonna mod the pump!)

 

hmmm.. was this 500 for a reman or just a used 215?
Even if just used thats a good deal. Know anyone selling pumps? I could do that and have it recalibrated and my wallet wouldnt feel so bad.
The transmission is goin to a DTT build as soon as I scrape up another 2000$.
