HX35 upgrade Q's
#10 fuel
3K GSK
50hp DDP injectors
full instrumentation
triple disk converter + upgraded 47rh
My VB is causing a stiff engagement in the TC and barking the turbo if I don't catch it in time and back out of the throttle for the OD shift. Unfortunatly the turbo has barked a few times too many and it's out of spec now and needing rebuilt. Under boost I'm getting some minimal contact on the turbo fins and housing, I could hear it so took the intake boot off and see some scuffing. Truck is parked until fixed.
I'm looking for a slight upgrade that will handle more abuse (also intend to address the VB and TC engagement)
what's a good value, rebuild my HX35 or step up to a 60mm fat shaft?

Guess I'm looking for a reputable shop or place to send the turbo for a big durability and slight performance boost focused on towing heavy. Slightly bigger housing to reduce EGT and wouldn't might a slight spooling delay to decrease in EGT under mid to full boost.

Thanks for the update. I would've expected you might need to upgrade to something like an S300 type. I'm no turbo guy, but from what I understand it's a lot stronger than the HX35 or 40 and can tolerate a lot more abuse.
Good to know the Rotomaster is working well for you.
