HX35 worth the upgrade?
HX UPGRADE?
I have access to a new, out of the box, HX35. Was wondering if its worth upgrading my little HY35? I know an after market unit would be the better way to go, if I had the money.

Depends on the price, I would think!
But your HY-35 has no right being under the same hood as an Edge Comp...unless your running it as an EZ. There is a big difference between a 9 cm2 turbine housing and a 12 cm2 housing...assuming that's what the HX-35 has. It will help you out a lot, and probably take you to 400 hp, with only minor egt problems.

If you can get it cheap, then go for it. After upgrading mine from the HY to the KSB-1 and feeling the difference in the top end, I firmly believe that the HY is to little for anything over stock.

If your stock, then don't bother switching. If you've got a fueling box of any sort, then switch. After seeing the difference in top end between a KSB-1 and an HY-35, I'm a firm believer now that the HY35 is to small for anything over stock and even then I question if it's to small.
