12v power options
I have a 96 12v auto. I am running 90hp injectors, no plate, 3k gsk, 4" exhaust pinched wastegate line and a built tranny. I feel like I am making some power but not a lot I am confused and need some guidence on where to turn now.

Looks to me like you have a pretty good start with your performance upgrades. DTR Member Tate is giving you some good advice on looking at some aftermarket turbos. How many miles are on your truck?? If you have intentions of going WAY up on H.P., and or boost I would recommend looking into putting some 12mm studs in also.

I currently have 127k on the truck. It is my daily driver and it has to be streetable. I currently get around 18mpg around town, then like twelve when I get on it alot. So for an extended cab long bed I'd say thats pretty good. I would like to get around 450hp out of the truck.

Toi advance my timing I wouldn't know where to start. I mean thats a lot of work, I would most likely have someone else do it. It would be helpful if someone would do it and how much would it cost??

With that many miles, I would highly recommend the 12mm studs before going too radical with turbos. FWIW,.....I blew the headgasket the first time on my 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve at 125,000 miles. At the time, I was only running an HX-40/16 Turbo putting out a little more than 40lbs. of boost and had 370 injectors to complement that turbo.

Not to say that isn't sound advice, but I did 520hp with DDP comp injectors and a silver bullet on stock bolts and gaskets with just about 400k km on the 24v. I'm also running F1 HR370's and a 64/71 turbo on stock gasket and bolts on 250k km 12v. So the stock stuff can hang in there. Other times it will blow out like yours did. I am running conservative timing on both of those though. With the 215, it pulls back even more timing, something that won't be present on the 180 pump.
I don't disagree with anything you said Tate. I know there are many guys that have had real good luck running the stock headbolts and gaskets. Heck, Jeff Garmon and his Crew are a great example of that. But,.....with that being said, there are just as many that have blown the 12v head gaskets too!
I could give you a very long list, many of them right here near me.
My suggestions to DixieDak Diesel was to try and give him the best reliability from his Dodge CTD 12 valve and IMHO, that includes the addition of 12mm studs.
