Roadranger RT 610 and 5.9

I read some years back where a guy put a roadranger 9 or 10 speed in a pickup. Does anyone know if there is an engine bellhousing that would mate a 610 to the 5.9? What did it come in if there is one? I know I'll have to raise the body and modify the tunnel but I know where one is and I would like to make the swap. Also, does anyone know of any other reasonable priced divorced transfer cases other than in the old Fords? Thanks for any info. SS

You might check a place called advance adapters in paso robles california for the bell housing.

All the parts from a 8.3 will work to put a RT610 & RT6610 on a 5.9. We put one in this truck.

The bed is a Alum-lite.My buddy had it made for the truck. He is going to use to pull his Dodge to truck pulls. And show it at truck shows.

The 6610 & the 610 will hold alout more than the 5600.The 6613 is the same trans but has a deepreduction box on the back.

The RT&the RTO6610 weight is 357lb
RT6613 is 554lb.

We got all the parts to put it in at Larry Schmidt Truck Parts 1-800-530-5283

Perkins,
When you say everything from an 8.3 will work, does that mean the flywheel, disc, and pressure plate also? What did you do for an air source? Is the truck you converted 4wd or 2wd? I guess I'll have to find a divorced transfer case. Did you have to raise the tranny tunnel? Thanks for all the good info. SS

Yes flywheel, disc, and pressure plate ,starter.Bellhousing.For the air we used a AC compressor, I have been using them for meny years. the truck is a 2wheeler.We didn,t raise the tunnel on the 99 because of the airride cab&sleeper.I did raise it on my 75 Ford.By the way the 6610&610 are 28.3" long. They also take a no.2 bellhousing.I would like to put a ESO7 sp. Spiser in my 75.They are heaver and longer. It almost looks like a bigger version of the 5600.But if I leave the RTO6610 in the 75 the wife can,t and won,t drive it. so it,s safe.

What did you come up with for the clutch pedal and linkage? This will be going in an 89' Dodge that is currently an auto. I think it was a hyd. clutch that year wasn't it. Thanks SS
