I'm not running gauges either, but not condoning it. It's next on the list, though. But if you want a little more before gauges and still be ok for now, turn your fuel pin to where the deep side is facing front of truck, and put a 3200 spring in (best mod I've done so far), and stop there until you get gauges. No guarantees, but you should be ok so long as you don't hot rod or pull heavy until you get gauges.

when you adjusted starwhell you pulled the pin out with the diaphragm. Instead of putting it back like it was, turn it to where the deep side is facing the front. The cone part is not centered with the pin, so if you put it back with the deep side facing front, you end up with more fuel throughout the rpm's and boost range. Turning the starwheel down allows more fuel under boost, and smoke screw allows more fuel at idle and low boost.

Yea it has a cap on it, Don't touch that till you get guages.

If you have fast enough internet connection look at the video, i show a close up of the deep side of the pin, and if you take your pump apart again you'll see the pin.

To adjust the starwheel you would of had to remove the fuel pin man . you were right there.

yes to the power screw, and the pin, and I'd leave your settings as they are until the gauges are working. I also recommend the 3200 governor spring. It's 15-20 bucks on ebay and will wake your truck up, man! Its one of the first things I got for mine and am VERY satisfied with the power. Watch Brandon's vids, they're very helpful.
