can you install a non i/c ve pump on an intercooled cummins? and can I get it without the ksb valve?

Well the simple answer is yes...BUT...there is a difference in the length of the delivery valves. The Non-IC DV's are longer then the IC DV's. So I doubt your lines would mount. Now you could swap over your IC DV's onto the Non-IC IP, or get a set of Non-IC fuel lines.

As for the KSB...why would you want to run without one? If you don't want it functioning then just disconnect the power source.

On a non intercooled pump you will want to have the ksb powered or you will be advanced all the time. Hard on the pump.

So which pump is better power wise or is there a difference?

The individual pumps are the same...but the Non-IC delivery valves supply a bit more fuel to the bigger Non-IC injectors. As well the Non-IC IP is timed a bit steeper then the IC pump....1.4MM vs 1.25MM IIRC?

I just installed an ic pump on a non ic engine, n the lines were only a 1/2" shortm alittle bit of tweekin n they fit just fine. Wish I knew the non ic had bigger dv s

I believe that the only difference between the two pumps is in the delivery valves. The timing is not internal...it's done by rotating the pump once installed on it's timing gear.
