intercooled vs. non-intercooled

I'm looking at buying A non-intercooled truck that has A banks intercooler conversion on it. Is there A big differece in motors, aftermarket parts and power wise? I,ve had 2 intercooled truck and hope the non-ic will be just as good.

Buy it, you'll like it. Non intercooled trucks have bigger injectors, they respond very well to pump tweaks.

My 93 came with pump tweaks done.

My 89 came bone stock. With 1/2 turn on the smoke screw, I could tell that 89 would run circles around the 93 back when it had stock sticks if I did just a little more on the 89s pump. With an intercooler already on, I'd say you have the best of both worlds.
