Wider rear tires
It's time for tires, and since my truck is 2WD , I'd like to stock tires in the front, and my wider ones on the rear, but not larger diameter, just wider rims and tires. I bet 10" rims with tires would look pretty cool, but I need the low profile tires, and the capacity. Any one know where I could find some tires like that. Or any pictures of a truck that's setup like that.
Edit : I calculated it out pretty close
Fronts would be : 265/70/17 265/25.4=10.43x.70=7.3x2=14.60+17"= 31.6dia by 10.43wide
Rears would be : 305/65/17
305/25.4=12.00x.65=7.8x2=15.61+17"= 32.6dia by 12.00 wide
Now to squeeze those 305s on some 8" wide rims, and from the looks of it, the truck should only sit a 1/2inch higher, but you know how that goes.

I do not know if the 2wd rims are any different them the 4wd rims but I am running Toyo's 315's on my stock rim. They are about 12" wide, maybe a hair less. They do not bulge in the middle so I think the stock rim is fine. Granted, a 10" rim would probably fit better but only had stock to begin with.

I realize this isn,t exactly what you asked for,but heres a pic of my 2wd with 315, in the rear and 245,s (ST model) in the front. All on 8.5" wide rims, and no I haven,t had any problem with the abs.I know a lota folks are going to dissapprove of running mismatch dia,s (a little over 4" difference)but as previously stated hasn,t caused a problem and kinda gives it a sixtie,s hotrod look.

Looks pretty cool, that's kind off what I'm looking for, but just trying to keep the diameter down , but now maybe not. Thanks for the picture, makes me feel better about doing it. How much did your rpms change, did you notice. That would be great if they dropped a bit, so my highway mileage might go up, on the highway it feels like a need a 7th gear.
Thanks,I dont really remember how much my rpms dropped ,but I did the math and based on my stock tires (245,s)being 30" tall and these being a little over 34" tall it actually took my 3.73,s back to about a 3.30.Yours should be a little less drastic since I assume you have 265,s instead of 245,s,and since you have a six speed stick your starting out geared lower than my auto anyway, should put you right in the ball park.
