If its just a little past MAX its not going to hurt it.

Its fine, don't worry unless your seeing fluid coming out the breather and onto the ground under the truck. You can run the trans 1-2 quarts over full depending on how the stick is marked and its a good thing. Extra fluid is always a plus.

The fliud level goes past the word MAX up to the loop bend on the dip stick. The manual states not to overfill the trans because it will shorten its lifespan.I dont want to bring it back to the dodge dealer because they are the ones who overfill it.I will never go there again. If I can do it myself, thats what I will do.Its a shame that you can not trust the Dodge dealers,I have had too many bad experiances with them. But I will be force to use them on warranty work only.

Probably not a problem, but siphon it out if it make you feel more comfortable.

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt

A big syringe (Auto parts/motorsports stores have them for mixing 2-stroke oil) and some clear plastic tubing (available at a hardware store) is the cheapest and easiest solution I found. Just suck it out the dipstick tube.
