holset hx55 too much or too little?
I am looking to upgrade the turbo in my 2003 HO 5.9 6 speed, the mods are diablo sport programmer and power puck chip, 5" turbo back exhaust, s & B intake, airdog 150, AFE intake horn, and arson 2 kit, dual feed line kit and 90 hp ddp injectors. My exhaust temps are getting kinds high whould this turbo be to little or too much for this? I would also be getting arp head studs and an aftermarked exhaust manifold. Thanks

HX-55 is really old and dated technology. There are so many good turbos that uses current designs that investing in something that old is really a waste. Plus, its too big without some massive fueling to make it work.

Yeah, really need to know what sizes everything is but for the most part they are too big for what you want to do. Unless its some abnormality with a real tight exhaust a/r and a small compressor wheel it would not be worth the hassle.
