What if i leave out the 90 hp sticks for now and just put them in when i put a turbo on? Gonna go with a silverbullet in the near future more than likely

What ever you do you need a new turbo. If you blow the stocker it could take out the whole motor. And yes I would recomend studs and springs are always a good idea while your there. You got pull the injectors to put springs in anyway so save yourself some time and do it all at once. Even if you have to wait longer to save the cash to do it all at once. I did, and I am glad I did it all at the same time (studs, spring and injectors).

the 2 htb2s i was looking at are the the sled puller 66 its a 66/12 and the killer b2 its a 64/13 which would be better? I'm going to put the nitrous off for a little while and go with the turbo instead

wap,
I am in a similar mode of adding studs and springs. I am planning on adding cam, springs and studs. This is the 1st I have heard that injectors needed to come out when doing springs and studs? Why is this needed? I may want to wait to do injectors also if that is the case.
Thanks, Jeff

You didn't mention how you intend to use the truck and also important is what size turbine wheel are we talking about 65-71 or (II 74).

The only 2 things Id recommend, is go w/ a bigger turbo or better yet twins, and stay away from II's CP3 pumps (read through the threads about II's pumps, they dont work to well) look at Floor-it or Wickeds CP3's

The truck is my daily driver, i never tow over 12000 lbs with it but i do tug around a trailor a good bit usually around 9000 lbs and i race it quite a bit. So i'm looking for a good towing/racing compromise. The specs i've found on the s.s. htb2 is that its a 64/65/13 also looked at a II silver 64
