Smarty SW#1 and Drag comp..too much timing?
I know the fuel saving program SW#1 uses aggressive timing and sometimes I like to use the drag comp .
I do this without changing to an even number Smarty program.
Is this too much total timing?

I inadvertently did that once with my Juice. I had it on the hot level and had the smarty on a timing level. I got on it pretty hard, the truck had more power than I had ever felt. When I let off it shut off and logged some codes. I was able to restart it but it scared the crap out of me. I suspected that the whole deal was timing related. I called Chip with Blue Chip diesel and he confirmed that it was too much timing and the VP-44 went crazy. Good way to melt pistons too.

Chapter President
When stacking the Smarty with another timing box only run the even numbers on the Smarty unless you want to melt down your pistons!!!!!!!!!
You should have done some homework before stacking box's!
